recommended: observeGolgulBot is an uncategorized agent operated by Golgul.
What it does
GolgulBot does not yet have an established behavior profile. Look for patterns in Agent Analytics: steady, considerate crawling may indicate an unannounced index, while fast, deep sweeps suggest scraping. Its user-agent string and IP addresses may offer the best clues to who operates it.
How to identify it
User-agent contains any of:
GolgulBot
robots.txt
Well-behaved crawlers honor robots.txt. To control GolgulBot:
Allow full access
User-agent: GolgulBot
Allow: /Block entirely
User-agent: GolgulBot
Disallow: /
Grey-area scrapers ignore robots.txt. Botscope enforces your policy at the edge or origin regardless —
